By accessing or using 1 on 1 Teacher (the "Platform"), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.

These terms apply to students, parents/guardians, teachers and visitors who browse, create an account, submit requirements, or offer tutoring services.

1 on 1 Teacher connects learners with verified one-on-one tutors. We help match requirements to teachers; we are not the employer of tutors unless expressly stated in a separate agreement.

You must provide accurate registration details and keep your login credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account.

Parents or guardians should create or supervise accounts for minors. Teachers must provide truthful profile, qualification and contact information.

Submitting a requirement does not guarantee a match or a specific tutor. Matches are based on the information you provide and teacher availability.

Any fees, schedules, or teaching arrangements agreed between a student/parent and a teacher are between those parties, except where we clearly intermediate a payment or credit product.

Certain contact or unlock features may require credits or payment. Prices and credit rules may change; we will show applicable terms before you confirm a purchase.

Unused promotional credits may expire as stated at the time they are issued. Refunds, if any, follow the policy shown at checkout or in support communications.

You agree not to misuse the Platform, including by posting false information, harassing others, scraping data, attempting unauthorized access, or using the service for unlawful purposes.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or put users at risk.

Platform branding, design and software are owned by 1 on 1 Teacher or its licensors. You may not copy or redistribute them without permission.

You retain rights to content you submit (such as requirements or profile text), and grant us a licence to host and display it as needed to operate the service.

The Platform is provided on an "as available" basis. We do not warrant uninterrupted service or that every tutor match will meet every expectation.

Learning outcomes depend on many factors outside our control, including effort, attendance and the agreement between learner and teacher.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, 1 on 1 Teacher is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from use of the Platform or from arrangements made between users.

We may update these Terms of Use from time to time. Continued use after changes are posted means you accept the revised terms. Material changes may also be highlighted in-product or by email when appropriate.
