Posting a requirement and browsing teachers are free. You only pay to reveal a phone number.
What is free
Almost everything. You can use the platform fully without paying, right up to the point of contacting someone.
- Creating an account, as a parent or a teacher.
- Posting a tutor requirement, and posting as many as you need.
- Browsing and filtering the full teacher directory.
- For teachers: browsing the requirements board and sending interest to a parent.
- Receiving interest from teachers, and reading everything they send.
What costs money
One thing: revealing a phone number. A teacher spends a credit to see a parent's number, and a parent spends a credit to see a teacher's.
Once a contact is unlocked it stays in your account permanently. You are never charged twice for the same person, no matter how often you look them up.
Credit packs
Credits are bought in packs. Larger packs cost less per contact. Credits never expire, and there is no subscription, no monthly fee and no auto-renewal.
- 2 contacts — ₹99 (₹50 per contact).
- 4 contacts — ₹159 (₹40 per contact, saves ₹39).
- 6 contacts — ₹199 (₹33 per contact, saves ₹98).
How payment works
Payments are handled by Razorpay. Cards, UPI, net banking and wallets are all supported, and card details are never sent to or stored by us.
Prices are in Indian Rupees and include all applicable taxes unless stated otherwise at checkout. Credits are added to your account as soon as the payment is confirmed.
Lesson fees are separate
1 on 1 Teacher charges for contact credits only. What you then pay a teacher for lessons is agreed directly between you and that teacher — we do not set it, collect it or take a commission on it.
Each teacher's hourly rate is shown on their profile so you know roughly what to expect before you spend a credit.
